Since 2011, the Workers’ History Museum has made concrete progress towards our goal of creating a museum that will interpret the history of the National Capital Region and Canada from the workers’ point of view. Thanks to your support, we have raised essential funding to create a virtual museum with a board of directors, an office, charitable status, and a website. We look forward to the next steps: identifying a location for the museum, artifacts acquisition, display development, and opening the museum to the public.

As a vibrant hub of regional and national labour history, interactive displays and learning opportunities, the Worker’s History Museum has a bold national vision that champions our country’s workers in the private and public sector – both unionized and non-unionized – along with historians, students and educators. Your support will make a real impact. By making a donation to the Workers’ History Museum, you are making a solid investment in researching and preserving the story of Canada’s economic, industrial, and cultural development.

If you or your organization wish to make a donation, please fill out our Donor Form or contact treasurer@workershistorymuseum.ca

The Workers’ History Museum is registered as a charitable organization with the Canada Revenue Agency. Tax receipts will be provided for donations over $10.00.
