We had some very good candidates for our research assistant for this summer.
We selected Hannah McCourtie, who is studying a joint Honours degree in political science and history at the University of Ottawa. She has experience in theatre productions, research with the government and other groups. She has an interest in textiles and making historic clothing.
She is currently working on our 2024 calendar researching the backgrounds of the houses we are highlighting. Later this summer she is going to work on our walking tours as we revamp the tours and reach out to the universities and colleges in Ottawa for walks in the fall. We are planning on her doing some research on electrification in Ottawa.
We are lucky to have her with us for the summer.
